5 out of 5 stars Really has done more than expected   November 30, 2005

This was recommended by my vet for my cat who is double positive(FeLeu/FeAIDS)so he really was in need of something to stabilize his red blood count.Since he has been on this 1ml(1/2 dropperful am and pm) per day I have noticed a big change. He doesnt have nearly as many bad days plus his energy level has improved and his hemacrit is up and stable. I keep a supply of his vitamins on hand now and recommend this to any one whose pets needs a vitamin boost in their diets. My vet uses my cat as a teaching tool and talks about him when she does her CEU's talks so I am very happy with our results.

Most vets she puts in contact are simly amazed by the improvement. The numbers are there to back it up....wbc went up 1.3 after 6wks...hct went up 1.1 mcv was up to normal range with a 3 point increase. They put him in the low normal range but he was at least in the normal range now instead of being low and off the chart. These results have been maintained over the past 18 months.

Like any pet owner I am just happy that I have helped my pet deal better with a chronic illness and I am doing my part to keep him as healthy as possible.

5 out of 5 stars My Vet sells this for 4 times as much   January 6, 2009

My dog was prescribed this for anemia, yet Amazon sells the same brand/product for a quarter the price, no prescription required (thank you Amazon!). High iron has been linked to heart problems in humans, and so it's important to have blood work done on your pet regularly before starting this product imho, and while maintaining use of the product, as this is not a regular daily vitamin but one high in iron.

5 out of 5 stars Reall does make a difference!   April 13, 2009

Ever since we adopted our senior Manchester Terriers we made our own food for them (having had some teeth pulled, etc.). Since we were not sure if they were getting all of the nutrients needed; we decided to add this to their dish daily and they seemed more alert and perky. I really do think it makes a differnce because once we ran out and didn't use it for a few months, but when we started back on the vitamins there was a noticeable difference. They were first recommended by our Vet...but have since purchased them through Amazon at a considerable savings.

Great price and Fast Shipping! A lot of a better deal then from your local pet store or vet.

5 out of 5 stars More Cat Energy   October 1, 2009
Paul Moskowitz (Yorktown, NY)
These drops were recommended for my 16-year old cat, Pi, by the vet. I bought them from Revival Animal Health through Amazon. PI certainly has more energy after I give him a dropper full. However, he does not particularly like having the drops squirted into his mouth. The risk is getting scratched or bitten. So, if you can give this to your cat, they may work for you.

An alternative is Nu-Cat vitamin tablets which I put in the dry food for my two cats. Pi's sister, Brownie, likes to eat the Nu-cats. They make her fur very nice. Pi rarely eats the vitamins, so I have to rely on the drops for him.
