Product Description
Canada's marine harvest is perfectly suited to the ORIJEN nutritional philosophy of high-protein, low-carbohydrate diets made with maximum inclusions of fresh regional ingredients. High-protein, low-carbohydrate and grain-free ORIJEN 6 FISH replicates the same rich balance of meats, fruits, vegetables and grasses that dogs would encounter in a wilderness setting, but with single-source protein from fish and single-source carbohydrate from potato.
Made with the highest possible

| Customer Reviews: best dog food we have found! February 14, 2010 Mark T. Walter (New York, NY) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Our almost 6 year old golden retriever has been plagued with itchy dry skin and loose stools all his life and we have tried many high quality dog foods to no avail. Finally we found Orijen fish formula and he is doing great!!!! Looks beautiful, not licking and biting his paws and skin any more and his stools are perfect. And he loves the food!!! Just wish it were easier to find in the larger size bags.
Tried many, this is the best May 23, 2010 Sean T. Busch (Austin, TX) I have two adult male beagles and have tried quite a few "boutique" level dog foods from Innova and Orijen over the past couple of years since they seem to be perennial favorites. I monitored my dogs closely from their stools to their coat and immediate response after eating. I found the Innova lines to make them lick their chops for about 10 minutes after each meal (likely due to the very high protein levels). They also gained a little bit of weight so I had to cut down their intake (to what seemed like almost nothing). This food, as I understand, is better suited for high-energy/activity dogs.
The original Orijen was better, but the fish-based proteins and Omega 3s ranked high for me, so I ended up switching to the 6 Fish. They've been enjoying it for a little over a year and the popularity has grown so much that at one point this year, it was almost impossible to find. It has also received a few awards this past year. The 29.7 lb bag lasts the two about 2 months.
In short, Orijen 6 Fish has drastically improved the coat, stool, energy level, and overall health of my two beagles compared to any store bought brands.
picky dog didn't like June 10, 2010 NOLA Gal (New Orleans) I'm sure this product is fine, my dog is just incredibly picky. Received quickly and in good condition.
dangerous dog food February 11, 2010 agapetos 2 out of 11 found this review helpful
After 1 1/2 months on this food all three of my dogs showed dangerous liver levels. after 3 weeks off of it all their levels went back to normal. It was not my dogs it was this food. Be careful this food can cause unrepairable liver damage and death dont feed.
