This is a GREAT cat bed that I use for my Chihuahua. It provides a cozy and protected place for him to relax and sleep....away from my crazy Jack Russell puppy! I haven't had to wash it yet and am unsure how it will stand-up in the washing machine. The bottom could have been filled with a little more "fluff" but it will do just fine for now. The walls are solid and soft (I believe they are made of a thick foam).

My vet suggested getting a bed for my cat so she would have a safe place. She has some grooming issues where she has licked all of her fur of off her back legs. When ever she is scared (strangers in the house/dogs running around) we know exactly where to find her. It is her security.
My cat loved this bed so much i purchased one for my 11 lb dog. He is a min pin with little fur and meat so he gets cold easily. He took to the bed like fish in water and curled right up. he gets to snuggle inside and stay warm. Each pet has their own and LOVES LOVES LOVES it.
Highly recommend it. I have about 5 other bed which will be donated as this one takes the place of them all.

My two cats have pretty much been fighting over this bed since I got it. It's definitely not big enough for two full sized cats but it fits a 12 lb. furball quite well with room to move around. The only negative is that the bed itself is not very stable. Without a cat in it (or if one of them runs, not walks, out of it) the bed just sort of falls over. A few times I've come into the room to find it face-down on the floor. I watched for a while and see that with the "stem" on top of this bed, they think it's a toy and try to grab it. This results in either the bed rolling around the room, or them caving in the top while trying to pounce on it.
I bought this for $9.90 one week ago and it is well worth that price. Logging on to purchase a second bed, I see that the price was raised to $29.99. Absolutely not worth this much and unfortunately I will have to look elsewhere for a similar product.

I went with my instinct and got two of these, one for my 3 year old female Siamese/Tabby mix and one for my 8 month old male Domestic Long Hair. I figured that if I only got one, they would fight over it. I got a rectangular bed months ago for my male cat and my female cat took it over. So, I decided to get something for both of them that would keep them warm in the cold weather we have been having. They both investigated them immediately! I put the two beds side-by-side and they both got in their own. It looked so cute with them each in one, and looking out the doorway! Since they both approved, it was a good purchase. The bottom is very soft, so if your cat doesn't like sleeping or laying on something soft, do not buy this one. It is a bit topsy turvy, so it is best to set the back of it against something for stability, or it will fall over or rock. It appears that it will collect a lot of cat hair, lint, etc. As I just got them today, I haven't tried to wash it yet, so I can't comment on how easy or hard that will be. I got them cheaper a week ago. I wouldn't pay the current price of $[...]. That is a bit too high for this product!
